Raydio是Ray Parker Jr.在1977创建的一个R&B组合。到1981为止Ray Parker Jr.单飞，于1984年为当时一部相当有名的电影[The Ghostbusters]（译：[捉鬼敢死队][魔鬼剋星]）谱写了主题曲。而这张[A Woman Needs Love (Just Like You Do]就出自Raydio解散那一年，所以封面上也只有Ray Parker Jr.一人。

整张专辑听起来绝对的old school，一股7,80年代老美的pop，funk的味道。而其中唯一一首纯乐曲[Still In The Groove]，也是DJ们喜爱的街舞battle曲目。

One can tell from the the portrait only of Ray Parker on the cover that Raydio was breaking up.Parker was pretty anxious to persue a solo career but at least he left Raydio with a bang.
Tunes like the slinkily smooth title song,"So Into You" and "Old Pro" prove once and for all Raydio & Parker's ability,only shared by a select few funk artists,to write great ballads.In the meantime the dancable "It's Your Night","All In The Way You Get Down" and "You Can't Fight What You Feel" showcase once and for ALL Raydio's mastery of of the uptempo synth-funk genre they had down to a formula by this point.But on all these songs the arrangements are alot cleaner."That Old Song" is actually one of the few pure uptempo pop numbers they ever did,complete with a strings but it works!And "Still In The Groove" is another patented Raydio funk instrumental in their familiar style.Along with their quirky debut and 1979's slick "Rock On!" this is among Raydio's better overall albums!
